Acknowledgement of Country

I acknowledge the First Nations Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples across all of the lands called Australia as the oldest living continuous culture on the planet. I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands & waterways, upon which we gather today, and pay our deep respects to the ancestors, our elders of today and our children of tomorrow. I acknowledge the stories, practises, traditions, Lores, ceremonies and medicines that have kept the people and the land well.

Community Reflections

“Natarsha Bamblett’s Acknowledgement of Country at each of the 3 events at the MAV Technology conference where I was MC, was always fresh, appropriate for the setting and engaged and educated the audience. She made the audience feel like they were really part of the acknowledgement and not just observing. I would highly recommend it”
Lisa McAskill
Master of Ceremonies ICMI Speakers & Entertainers
“I thought it was the best Acknowledgement of Country I’ve witnessed in my 13 years in Australia. I really loved how she had the audience participate and for me it added a deeper sense of understanding and feeling.”
Patrick Dillon
Manager Business Transformation, Frankston City Council
"Tarsh Bamblett he’s an absolute powerhouse of a woman. The way she takes you on a journey of acknowledging this incredible land. I have been able to witness her on stage multiple times and have been moved each and every time she shares the way she does. It has been an honor to witness the impact she is creating across the nation, her warmth, her care, and her desire to be of service and create safe spaces where we can learn and empower ourselves with knowledge, is like no other. Highly recommend her for each and every event!"

"I wanted to take a moment to say a huge heartfelt thank you. Today was truly AMAZING and INSPIRATIONAL. Thank you so much for sharing your story and creating an environment that was inclusive, educational, challenging and empowering. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and our team members in their own way are reflecting on the key messages that you shared. On behalf of DECJUBA thank you again for sharing your story and welcoming us into your world albeit for a snapshot."
Georgegina Poulos
DECJUBA, Chief People Officer
"Nartarsha was an uplifting speaker who commanded the (virtual) room with kindness and generously shared her knowledge of Country, community and parenthood with us. It was a delight to have her speak at our Foundation event during NAIDOC Week. Thank you again."
Shane Lucas
CEO, Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation
"Tarsh’s session was the best thing I have ever attended. It opened my eyes to First Nation’s people and what they experienced and continue to experience. There was no blame, just education and I will forever be grateful."
Jessica Gobbo (Dudley)
Manager - Coroners Aboriginal Engagement Unit (CAEU)
"What a brilliant day! It was confronting and emotional, but made me think about how much unconscious bias was being inflicted on me. Would highly recommend, Nartarsha’s stories helped a non-indigenous person really grasp the impact of inter generational trauma. Thank you."
Sexual Health Australia
“I had the pleasure of speaking at a conference that Tarsh opened with an Acknowledgement of Country. I felt deeply moved and inspired by Tarsh and how she engaged with the whole audience. I would like to see every conference or event started with the same passion and respect. Truly beautiful to experience. Thank you.”
