Booking Agreement – Nartarsha Bamblett
This Booking Agreement ("Agreement") is made between Nartarsha Bamblett and the Client, and governs the engagement outlined below. The Agreement takes effect from the date of acceptance and remains in force until both parties have fulfilled their obligations.

5. Services Provided
Nartarsha Bamblett agrees to deliver one or more of the following services:
- Ceremonial Acknowledgements
- Mentoring Programs
- Cultural Awareness Training
- Acknowledgement to Country Workshops
- Keynote Speaking
6. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Permit a sound check if requested by the Presenter.
- Obtain prior consent before taking photographs or making recordings.
- Maintain valid public liability insurance and provide a copy upon request.
7. Additional Requirements (Where Applicable)
The Client will provide or arrange for:
- Accommodation
- Flights
- Transfers
- Meals
- Dressing Rooms
- Parking
- Support Persons (if needed)
8. Fees and Payment
Service Fee: $[Insert] (exclusive of GST)
Payment Schedule:
- Deposit: 50% payable upon booking confirmation
- Balance: 50% payable within 7 days post-engagement
- Expenses (if any): To be paid in advance or as specified
Payment Terms:
- All invoices will be issued by Nartarsha Bamblett.
- Payments must be made by the due date to the account specified on the invoice.
- GST is applicable where noted.
- The Presenter cannot be publicly announced until the Deposit has been paid.
9. Promotion and Use of Brand Assets
- The Client may use approved names, images, and bios of Nartarsha Bamblett for promoting the Engagement only.
- All promotional materials must be approved before release.
- If Nartarsha Bamblett records or photographs the event, she retains the right to use this media for self-promotional purposes.
- The Client consents to being listed as a past client, including logo use on digital/print channels.
10. Intellectual Property
- All content and materials used during services are the intellectual property (IP) of Nartarsha Bamblett or licensed to her.
- The Client is granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the IP only within the scope of the Engagement.
- Any further use requires written permission and may incur additional fees.
11. Cancellations by Client
- Change of Mind: Full refund if notice is given in writing at least 7 days prior.
- Force Majeure: No refund of Deposit if cancelled within 48 hours’ notice.
- All Other Cancellations: The full Fee and any incurred costs remain payable, subject to applicable law.
12. Cancellations by Nartarsha Bamblett
- Due to Illness or Emergency: Full refund if the Presenter cannot attend.
- For Convenience: Up to 30 days before the event, with full refund provided.
- Force Majeure (excluding illness): Deposit retained; Client responsible for expenses only.
- Unsafe Conditions or Unmet Client Duties: Deposit retained, expenses reimbursed, and 50% of the balance Fee payable.
13. Liability & Legal Rights
- This Agreement does not limit rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Liability for loss or failure to deliver services is limited to re-supply or cost of re-supply.
- The Client releases Nartarsha Bamblett from further claims where a lawful cancellation occurs.
14. Special Conditions
- This is a contract between independent contractors.
- The Client must comply with all applicable laws and venue policies.
15. Definitions
- Force Majeure Event: Includes acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, family emergencies, and other uncontrollable events.
- Loss: Includes all direct or indirect costs, expenses, damages, or liabilities arising from any cause.
Acknowledgement
This Agreement is binding upon signature by both parties.
